Close to the GR 400 and in the heart of the Mandailles cirque and the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this characterful 1724 house adjoining a second home welcomes you to a small mountain hamlet overlooking the valley.
Nestled close to the Puy Mary, classified as a Grand Site National, this Holiday cottage is ideally situated for Hiking: GR4 and GR400, Jordanne gorges nearby. A wide range of activities are available at the Mandailles nature resort (climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, trail...). You can also try your hand at winter sports at the Super-Lioran ski resort and discover the Aurillac region.
The house has an enclosed courtyard and 100 m² of fenced garden. First floor: living room, dining room with fitted kitchenette and fireplace (wood-burning stove 80 €/m3), shower room, separate toilet. On 1st floor, 1 bedroom with 1 x 160cm bed, 1 bedroom with 1 x 2-person bed and 1 x 1-person bed, bathroom, separate wc. Wifi Internet access. Electric heating according to consumption.

A 2 km village de Mandailles, boulangerie et épicerie.

Joli gîte bien situé pour les randonneurs car au bord du Gr 400. Spacieux et confortable, le tout avec un intérieur Cantalien .
Superbe vue sur la vallée de la Jordanne.

Nico Une très belle découverte
Gîte très spacieux idéalement situé dans les hauteurs d'un hameau avec une belle vue. Le GR 400 passe devant la maison. L'espace jardin est très appréciable au retour des randos. La vallée de la Jordanne est magnifique,point de départ de nombreuses randos. Le col du Pertus avec sa rando au puy Griou( 12km AR) ou jusqu'au Puy Mary ( 11km600 aller)et autres destinations est à privilégier. La route pour le pas de Peyrol était malheureusement fermée pendant la semaine. L'épicerie de Mandailles est bien achalandée, le pain de campagne très bon.Cependant faire un bon plein à Aurillac est recommandé car aucun commerce en dehors de l'épicerie.A visiter: Salers et Murat.
