Situated in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and at the foot of Puy Mary, classified as a Grand Site National, this character house dating from 1851 and fully renovated in 2012, adjoining a second home, welcomes you to a small hamlet in the mountains.
Nearby attractions include the Monts du Cantal, numerous Hiking trails (departing from the Holiday cottage), the Brâme du Cerf in autumn, the Maison de la Faune, numerous fishing streams and the Lake du Pêcher. Nordic activities: Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Col de Serre (5 km), downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Super-Lioran and Prat de Bouc resorts.
This Holiday cottage benefits from a 500 m² enclosed garden with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue.
First floor: fully-equipped kitchenette, living room with fireplace (wood-burning stove €70/m3), flat-screen TV, DVD player, shower room with toilet. Henry Charmant gîte au bord de la rivière dans le Cantal
Charmante maison dans un hameau calme et authentique du Cantal. La maison en pierre est bien isolée, munie d'un poêle à bois et bien équipée.
De magnifiques randonnées et ballades débutent à proximité du gîte.
Un bon bol d'air frais au sein de la nature, nous recommandons ce gîte. Merci au propriétaire pour son accueil et ses conseils pour découvrir la région.

Jacques Vacances au calme.
Gîte situé dans une vallée très calme mais à proximité de Murat et des Puys, idéal pour les visites et les randonnées. Propriétaire à l'écoute et donne de bons conseils.

Nathalie Charmand gîte au calme
Nous sommes arrivés au gîte en autonomie et avons fait la connaissance de notre propriétaire à notre départ. Le gîte est très bien situé, à la sortie du village, proche de la rivière dans un bel environnement. Il est équipé simplement, rien ne manque et il est très propre. Nous avons occupé la chambre double et elle est très confortable. Nous y avons passé un séjour très agréable et essaierons de revenir.
