Located in the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this self-catering cottage with separate entrance in a character house welcomes you to the heart of Murat's historic center.
Nearby, you can enjoy the winter and summer ski resorts of Super-Lioran, 14 km away (downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating, accrobranche, mountain biking...), discover Romanesque churches, visit the Maison de la Faune in Murat and the medieval city of Saint-Flour, go hiking, paragliding, climb the Grand Site National du Puy Mary and discover numerous lakes and waterfalls.
The gîte has an enclosed courtyard to the rear, with a private garage on request for storing equipment and parking motorcycles and bicycles only.
On the 1st floor, living room with fireplace (free wood-burning stove), flat-screen TV, library, wifi internet access, fitted kitchenette. 2nd floor: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed bunkered with 1 double bed, shower room, separate toilet. Super séjour. Escaliers un peu difficiles à noter peut-être pour que d'autres vacanciers ne soient pas surpris.

Merci pour votre commentaire. Quant à l'escalier, il n'a jamais causé de problèmes (rampes). Nous l'avons conservé car il fait partie du charme de la maison.

Grand appartement, très bien situé dans la ville. En face d'un bar très sympa.
La location est très bien équipée. L'isolation phonique est excellente, ce qui empêche la gêne extérieure.
Très bon accueil du propriétaire.

Nous avons passé un très très bon séjour.
Idéalement situé en centre ville dans une ancienne maison parfaitement aménagée (lave linge lave vaisselle wifi) et confortable ce gîte est bien entendu à recommander dans un beau village Murat.
Pou qui aime randonner grimper des cols à vélo ou bien se promener c est idéal (Lioran Puy Mary plomb du Cantal etc )
En face du gîte l escargot bar très sympathique et une épicerie avec d excellents produits. Que du positif.

Guy séjour du 8 au 10 Mai 2025
Excellent séjour malgré une météo exécrable. Murat est vraiment un point de départ pour de belles excursions dans les monts du Cantal. Sous le soleil, les paysages doivent être magnifiques. Le gîte est très agréable, confortable et bien situé. L'accueil par le propriétaire était sympathique et prévenant.
