Located at the gateway to the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this character gîte with its own entrance on one level is housed in an 18th-century barn that has been fully renovated to include 1 other gîte.
Nearby, you can enjoy hiking in the Monts du Cantal (Puy Violent, Puy Mary, Puy Chavaroche...). You can also discover the Salins waterfall, the Mars valley, the Mauriac basilica, the medieval town of Salers, and the castles of Auzers, Trémolière and Anjony.
The gîte benefits from private grounds with garden furniture and barbecue, and private parking.

Nous étions un groupe de danses trad et chants trad. Nous avons loué les 2 gîtes.
Nous avons trouvé exactement ce qui nous correspondait. Tout proche de Mauriac, des promenades à volonté (le Puy Violent, la cascade de Salins, le viaduc des rochers noirs, la proximité de Salers), la truffade, l'échange avec le groupe folklorique de Mauriac... Ces 2 gîtes ,pour un prix imbattable sont idéalement placés- Cleanliness

Gîte bien pensé, dans un environnement très calme. Il manque juste quelques détails matériels pour que l'ensemble soit parfait. Nous avons apprécié la cheminée par les fraîcheurs de ce mois de mai.

Gerard séjour dans le Cantal
Gite de très bonne qualité, à proximité de Mauriac, ville pittoresque et riche de culture. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps splendide, voir très chaud. Mais la fraicheur de cette vieille et grande maison, bien équipée, nous a permis de ne pas être accablés par la chaleur aux heures les plus chaudes, mais de jouir aussi d'une intimité, car très vaste et pourvue d'un bon confort. La beauté légendaire de la région n'a pas besoin d'être documenté. Un séjour d'une semaine qui donne envie de revenir.
