Located in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and close to the medieval town of Salers, this character house adjoining a second home welcomes you to a small hamlet at the foot of the Col de St Georges.
Many activities are possible in this area: hiking (Puy Violent, Puy Chavaroche, Grand Site de France du Puy Mary), visits to Salers and Tournemire classified as Plus Beaux Villages de France, the castles of Trémolière, Anjony and Salers, discovering the Val Saint-Jean lake in Mauriac, swimming in Longayroux.
Enclosed 250 m² grounds with garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking available in the enclosure.
First floor: living room with kitchenette, sitting area with flat-screen TV and fireplace with wood-burning stove (free wood), shower room and separate toilet. Upstairs, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds (80cm) that can be made into 1 double bed (160cm). Electric heating according to consumption.
Grocery store in Fontanges 10km away. Shops and services in Saint-Martin-Valmeroux 14km.

Motovoyageaventure Un séjour inoubliable
Nous avons été conquis par ce gîte dans le cantal ! Localisation très calme, proche de Salers où nous avons pu déguster les produits locaux. Le cadre est magnifique, un véritable retour à la nature. Le gîte est parfait, très propre, et très bien équipé. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine malgré la pluie grâce aux moments cosy passés près de la cheminée.
Pour les motards, possibilité de stationner vos motos dans le jardin à l'intérieur de la propriété. Très bons échanges avec la propriétaire, nous recommandons fortement ce logement !- Cleanliness

BDLB Un vrai petit coin de paradis
Séjour très agréable dans une région riche en visites et randonnées.
Le gîte est très bien équipé. Il manque juste quelques chaises longues à l'extérieur et un fer à repasser opérationnel (mais cela reste un usage exceptionnel). Sinon, rien à redire. Calme garanti.- Cleanliness
