Located close to Puy Mary and the Mandailles cirque, this fully renovated 1836 detached character house welcomes you to a pleasant mid-mountain hamlet.
To discover in the area: Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, Grand Site National du Puy Mary, outdoor activities in Mandailles (paragliding, climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, trail...), numerous hiking trails (GR4 and GR400), Mandailles cirque, Liadouze waterfall, Jordanne gorges, adventure trail at Graves lake, snowshoeing, downhill and cross-country skiing at Super-Lioran resort, Salers and Tournemire villages classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France.

Mme de Castro nous a très bien accueillis dans son magnifique gîte, une ancienne grange très bien restaurée et aménagée
Plein de randonnées à faire depuis le gîte ou à proximité, pour tous les âges et tous les niveaux : vous n'aurez que l'embarras du choix ! N'oubliez pas d'aller visiter aussi Salers, Aurillac, Murat... et les très bons fromages du Cantal, la truffade... de quoi reconstituer ses forces après une bonne rando ! Pour les adeptes de la p'tite reine, très bien également : vous pourrez ranger vos vélos dans le sous-sol !- Cleanliness

La famille frofro Super gîte dans la vallée de la Jordanne
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le gite est tout confort et fidèle à la description. Il dispose d'une superbe vue sur les montagnes environnantes et l'accueil de la propriétaire est très chaleureux. De nombreuses randonnées partent du gîte, pas besoin de la voiture ! La station du Lioran est à 30 min, idéal en hiver pour des virées sur les pistes !

Georges T Un nid d'aigle parfait !
Très beau gîte typique pour les amoureux de nature. Oubliez vos besoins de citadins, ce nid d’aigle à 1000m où l’on est seul au monde, à s’en croire le maitre, dans un écrin magnifique, nous aura donné beaucoup de plaisir pour un séjour de Noël inoubliable.
Les chaînes sont indispensables en hiver, et prenez plaisir à aller au village à pied (2,5km) pour le pain et d’excellentes pâtisseries.- Cleanliness
