Located 2 km from the medieval town of Murat, this self-catering cottage with independent entrance on the first floor of a renovated 1946 house welcomes you to the farm in a small hamlet (owner's office on first floor for occasional use).
There's plenty to do nearby, including hiking in the Monts du Cantal, climbing the Plomb du Cantal and the Grand Site National du Puy Mary, visiting the medieval towns of Murat and Saint-Flour, discovering numerous Romanesque churches, castles and Gustave Eiffel's Garabit viaduct. You can also take advantage of the Super-Lioran ski resort (accrobranche, snowshoeing, downhill and cross-country skiing, skating rink, etc.).
You'll enjoy a balcony and enclosed grounds with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. Living room with flat-screen TV, equipped kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds, shower room, separate toilet. Electric heating according to consumption. Rates include all charges in high and very high seasons.

Gîte idéalement situé pour découvrir les monts du Cantal. Randonnées à proximité, joli village de Murat... Proximité de la ferme très appréciée (traite, dégustation et achat de très bons fromages). Propriétaire sympathique et accueillante.
Nous aurions aimé savoir que location de draps ne signifiait pas lits faits à l'arrivée. Ajoutons qu'un peu de ménage supplémentaire entre deux locataires serait utile (toiles d'araignées, poussière entre les meubles de salle de bain).- Cleanliness

Sandalette Très bon séjour
Très bon séjour. Hôtes très accueillant. Le gîte est spacieux, à la ferme, au calme. Idéal pour une famille avec des enfants. Il y a un jardin avec de l’ombre. Le fromage y est excellentissime ! La situation est parfaite pour qui veut randonner. Les chemins de balades sont très nombreux, les paysages sont magnifiques.
