Located at the gateway to the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this gîte, on the 1st floor of an 1884 building with the town hall on the first floor and adjoining the salle polyvalente, welcomes you to the village of Méallet.
Nearby, you can visit the châteaux of Val, Auzers, Anjony and Trémolière, and the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France. You can also ride a vélorail, discover the Salins waterfall, the Grand Site National du Puy Mary, go hiking (Monts du Cantal, Col d'Aulac, Vallée du Mars, Gorges de la Dordogne...), fishing (Lac de Trizac, the Mars and the Dordogne), swimming and water sports (Lac du barrage de Bort les Orgues).

Stemess Gite communal
C'est un logement ancien rénové, c'est propre.
Il y a quelques défauts: des portes ont travaillé avec le temps. Mais,il est bien chauffé, bien équipé :lave linge, sèche linge. Les animaux sont acceptés sans supplément.
Le village est très calme, parking est au pied du bâtiment.
La dame de l'accueil est très gentille.
Le rapport qualité/ prix est excellent.

l'appartement est très confortable, totalement équipé et bien chauffé en hiver. On y est comme à la maison.

Très bon séjour au gîte de la mairie de Méallet, original de loger dans l'appartement de l'ancien instituteur.Très bon accueil, disponibilité de la personne chargée de la remise des clefs.Gîte avec tout le confort nécessaire, électro-ménager de bonne qualité, vaisselle et accessoires en quantité suffisante.
