Villa Castanea: a family-run vacation cottage between chestnut groves and Ardèche panoramas, for vacations in the heart of nature.

Villa Castanea is located on the hills above Vesseaux, in a quiet, natural setting. On the edge of the woods, it offers an ideal setting for walks or mountain bike rides, in the heart of the Ardèche chestnut groves.

Its location makes it easy to reach all the major sites in the area: Aubenas is around 10 minutes away, the Ardèche Gorges 30 minutes and the Ardèche Mountains an hour away. The surrounding roads, with their varied landscapes, characterful villages and typical panoramas, will appeal to lovers of car and motorcycle tours.

Villa Castanea is part of a group of adjoining Holiday cottages, each of which can accommodate up to 6 people, while retaining an independent entrance. The outdoor spaces, shared between the gîtes, offer a convivial setting. The garden gives access to an 8 x 4 m above-ground swimming pool, shared with three other 6-person Holiday cottages.

This recently-built, fully air-conditioned, two-storey house is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. On the first floor, you'll find an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area for six and a living room with flat-screen TV.
Upstairs, the sleeping area comprises three bedrooms: two with 160 cm beds and one with two 90 cm beds. A bathroom with walk-in shower and vanity unit is also available, as is a separate toilet.

Beds made on arrival and bathroom linen provided. Baby equipment can be provided on request. Heating included and parking provided.

Villa Castanea is ideal for families or groups of friends, close to the main tourist attractions of the Ardèche.

Piscine information: above-ground pool - 8 x 4 m - 1.30 m deep - chlorine treatment - liftable ladder - unheated - open in July and August, weather permitting.
