If you're looking for a break for just the two of you, and want to discover the wonders of the southern Ardèche, then this tastefully renovated, comfortable and cosy old barn is just what you're looking for. A little gem in the heart of the Ardèche, just a few minutes from Balazuc, listed as one of France's most beautiful villages, this charming house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet setting. Adjoining a permanent dwelling, it guarantees both peace and quiet and proximity to local amenities (Ruoms and its shops 10min away). Its private garden, with a small room for your two wheels, promises pleasant moments of outdoor relaxation. Take advantage of our close proximity to the "voie verte" and set off on foot or by bike, in complete safety, towards Vogüé or Ruoms. The program for your stay includes: strolls through the beautiful cobbled streets of Balazuc or Labeaume, a trip to the Ruoms Market on Friday mornings to sample local produce, a visit to the reconstruction of the UNESCO-listed Grotte Chauvet... And for the more sporty: canoeing down the Gorges de l'Ardèche, hiking and swimming in the sublime Cirque de Gens at Chauzon, or mountain-biking through the vineyards. Once back at the Holiday cottage, you'll feel right at home in the spacious rooms. Inside, you'll be seduced by the living room's stone walls and fireplace (wood supplied), which add a cosy, authentic atmosphere. The second living area is bathed in light thanks to the bay windows. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals, and steep stairs lead up to the first floor. Here you'll find a bedroom with a 160cm bed, a shower room with Italian shower and WC, and a low mezzanine furnished as a reading or relaxation area. You'll enjoy reversible air conditioning in the living room and bedroom for comfort in all seasons. On arrival, you'll be greeted with bed linen and towels provided, so you can enjoy your stay worry-free.
