In the heart of a verdant Ardèche valley, the Holiday cottage Mélot invites you to take a break from nature, just ten minutes from Le Cheylard and twenty minutes from the great landscapes of the Ardèche Mountains.

This stone house, nestled in a small, peaceful hamlet, offers the authenticity of Ardèche buildings and the conviviality of a stay with family or friends.

A few stone steps lead up to the entrance of the Melot gîte. The accommodation is laid out on two levels, with a large living room on the ground floor featuring a fully-equipped kitchenette, a dining area and a wood-burning fireplace to warm up winter evenings (wood supplied). A small independent living room with TV completes the space on the first floor. Upstairs, the attic mezzanine offers a pleasant relaxation area for Kids. The Holiday cottage has three bedrooms, one with a double bed, a second with a double bed and a single bed, and a third with two sets of bunk beds. Two bathrooms and two toilets, one of which is independent, ensure a practical and pleasant stay. Electric heating (extra charge).

Outside, the adjoining garden is ideal for al fresco dining around a charcoal barbecue.

The surrounding area is full of activities for young and old alike. Five kilometers away, Le Cheylard offers shops, a swimming pool with slide at the Base de loisirs Eyrium, and cycling and walking trails. You can visit the Arche des Métiers with its playful exhibitions, try your hand at the Aquarock accrobranche course in Saint Sauveur de Montagut or discover the Atelier du bijou in Saint Martin de Valamas. Here, nature and the heritage of the Ardèche combine to offer a rich and rejuvenating stay.
