In the southern Cévennes Ardéchoises, close to the Gorges du Chassezac, a pleasant river with many swimming spots (10-minute walk), beautiful panoramic view of the Serre de Barre (paragliding departure point) and surrounding villages.
Le Mas de Chazel is a character-filled Holiday cottage set in a 15th-century Ardéchoise manor house, steeped in history with exposed stonework, vaulted ceilings, spiral staircase and monumental fireplaces.
Generous sunshine and large grounds for relaxing.
Adjoining the owners' house, it has its own independent entrance, not overlooked.
On the 1st level, comprising a lovely living room with air-conditioned sitting area with sofa, TV and fitted kitchen area with washing machine, dishwasher and stove. A bright bedroom with a 140cm bed and a wardrobe, a second very nice bedroom with a 160cm bed and a cupboard and the last bedroom with two 90cm beds, a wardrobe and a school desk. Bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. Electric heating (included in the price), baby bed available.
On the ground floor, you'll find a large gaming room with table tennis, table soccer and summer kitchen.
Near the Holiday cottage, there are numerous Hiking trails to discover our exceptional heritage: the Bois de Païolive and its ruiniform rocks, Naves, Thines, Banne, the dolmens in the Bois de Bourbouillet...
The village of Les Vans is just 5 minutes away, with its shops, restaurants and activities. It's a great place to recharge your batteries.

Très agréable séjour
5/5Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce grand gîte confortable et bien équipé.Il est bien situé, à proximité des Vans et d'un grand plan d'eau sur le Chassezac. Les hôtes sont très accueillants.

Charmante maison
4/5Cette grande maison à beaucoup de charme et de cachet. L'environnement direct est magnifique et la baignade à 10 minutes à pied. Si vous venez en famille la salle de jeu présente en RDC est un vrai plus (ping pong et baby foot).

Gite spacieux et confortable
5/5Le gite (ancien mas) est très spacieux, bien équipé et bien situé. Idéal pour partir en randonnée, on peut aller à pied à la rivière. Les hôtes sont très accueillants. Les vieilles pierres de la maison protègent des grosses chaleurs, ce qui la rend agréable même au coeur de l'été. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Gravières et nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

5/5Wir haben den Aufenthalt trotz großer Hitze genossen, die Betten waren gut, die
Küchenausstattung super, aussen kleine Sitzgelegenheit auf dem Balkon mit schönem Blick,im Hof unter großem Maulbeerbaum herrlich im Schatten, sehr ruhig.
In der Nähe mehrere,herrliche Badeplätze an dem Fluss Chazenac, in 25 km Umkreis mehrere sehendwerte Villages charactere wie Labeaume, Balazuc, Naves, Thines, Vinezac und Vogüe. Der Supermarkt Super U in Les Vans bietet alles , ansonsten locken die vielen Wochen-Märkte in den Örtchen der Umgebung! Tip für "LiLi", die gute Seele des
Hauses: Ein Sonnenschirm auf dem Balkon mit Kabelbinder an dem Balkongeländer befestigt würde den Aufenthalt perfektionieren!
