Your gîte is in the heart of Coucouron, a large mountain village within walking distance of all amenities. It is on the first floor of a detached house. A 2nd gîte is upstairs. It has a private enclosed garden area with garden furniture and a private courtyard for your car. It comprises a living room/kitchen, 2 bedrooms with a double bed (140cm), a bedroom with 2 single bunk beds, a shower room and a toilet. Cot and high chair available. Ideal for fishing, cycling, hiking and dog sledding. The Coucouron lake is close by for swimming, pedal-boating and water games (small restaurant at the lake), and an accrobranche (tree climbing) is 20 km away. It's also a gastronomic region where you can sample local cheeses, charcuterie and many other local products. A great oxygenating holiday, taking advantage of the wide-open spaces of the Ardèche Mountains, not forgetting visits to the emblematic sites of the Ardèche Gorges, with its Pont d'Arc and famous Grotte Chauvet2-Ardèche (around 75 kms away), the Ray Pic waterfall (around 45 kms away), Mont Gerbier de Joncs and Lac d'Issarlès (around 15 kms away).
