In the heart of the southern Ardèche village of Saint Alban Auriolles, we've converted our old 19th-century Ardèche house into the Lo Fatolier gîte.
You'll have the feeling of being on your own, just a short stroll from your vacation home, and you'll discover the narrow streets of the old village, the dolmens, the garrigue and the fresh bread from the bakery. The mini-market, post office, small bistro and Monday market are just 150 m from your vacation rental. Less than 10 minutes away, you'll find river swimming (Ardèche, La Beaume, le Chassezac.....) Less than 20 km away, you'll discover listed villages (Balazuc, Labeaume.....), the Grotte Chauvet 2 - Ardèche and the majestic Ardèche gorges with the Pont d'Arc. Situated at the foot of the Cévennes mountains and the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park, our rental property is the perfect place to spend a pleasant vacation or, for the more adventurous, set off on one of the many hiking trails. From its large terrace overlooking a wooded park, you'll appreciate the peace and quiet and the balmy summer nights. Under the majestic hackberry tree, the picnic table awaits you for pleasant meals. An authentic garden provides seasonal vegetables. Our gîte is on 2 levels. The 1st level comprises a well-equipped kitchen, shower room and WC. On the 2nd level, you'll find the living room with a single bed and a sofa that can be made into a bed, and the bedroom with a 160cm bed.
