L'Isle de la Montagne

L'Isle de la Montagne was once the name given to Saint Thomé, a charming medieval village. Today, it's the name we've given to our gîte, a detached single-storey house located opposite our home.

We're in the southern Ardèche, close to Viviers (famous for its history and cathedral), Montélimar (capital of the famous nougat) and the Gorges de l'Ardèche (Grotte Chauvet2-Ardèche).

The gîte is highly functional, and has been designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility.
It comprises an air-conditioned living room with direct access to the shaded terrace and landscaped courtyard (parking, bowling facilities).
This room features a fitted kitchen with dining area, a sitting area with sofa, flat-screen TV and WiFi connection.
At night, 2 bedrooms, one with a 140 cm bed, the other with 2 90 cm beds. For your comfort, bed linen is included and beds are made up on arrival.
The bathroom is spacious and suitable for disabled guests, with a large walk-in shower equipped with a fold-down shower seat and grab bar, countertop washbasin and wall-mounted toilet with grab bar.

A charging station for electric vehicles is available at the gîte (extra charge).
