10 minutes from the Gorges de l'Ardèche and 45 minutes from Vallon Pont d'Arc, Véronique and Gérard (beekeeper) welcome you to their bed and breakfast on the ground floor of their house, set between vineyards and chestnut trees in a very peaceful environment, with the possibility of walks from the house (close to the GR42: Chemin de St Jacques). We offer a Suite for 2 people, with a shower room with private WC and a large private lounge adjoining the bedroom, which can accommodate an extra person and has a library, a dining and relaxation area with piano and wifi. Independent access from outside, with a shaded terrace and several garden areas to relax in (hammocks and deckchairs available). We benefit from a privileged location at the crossroads of 4 departments rich in natural, cultural and gastronomic heritage: Ardèche, Drôme, Gard and Vaucluse. You'll be able to taste our home-made products: honey, bread baked over a wood fire from September to June, and chestnut jam. We are located 5 minutes from the RN86 and 20 minutes from freeway exits (Bollène or Montélimar sud). Minimum stay 2 nights.

Véronique vous conseillera sur les visites, balades et coins de nature à découvrir (confidentiels ou plus fréquentés). Et sera très heureuse de partager avec les hôtes à la main verte, leurs conseils pour acclimater de nouvelles fleurs et essences dans le jardin, son terrain de jeu préféré. Gérard apiculteur, pourra vous conter les secrets de la vie laborieuse des abeilles. Boulanger à ses heures, il vous montrera le four à pain construit de ses grandes mains et ses recettes de pain au levain.

R.D. Au milieu des châtaignes ...
Un très bon accueil, dans un lieu reculé de la commune de de Saint-Marcel d'Ardèche. Idéal si on cherche la tranquillité et le repos sous un magnifique châtaigner !
