The gîte Les Mimosas is located in Ailhon, a small village full of architectural and historical surprises. Your trip to the Ardèche begins with a visit to this village, with its church, sandstone houses and square. The special thing about Ailhon is that it's surrounded by legendary trees, forests of maritime pines and the many "faÿsses", narrow terraces where the ancients have farmed for centuries. The gîte's privileged location allows you to discover the town of Aubenas and its castle, less than 10 km away, as well as the listed villages of Vogüé, Balazuc, Antraïgues-sur-Volane and the typical villages of Jaujac and Les Vans.
The gîte has a large plot of 2000m2, planted with trees and faÿsses.
It comprises a living room with a sitting area equipped with sofa, armchairs, flat-screen TV, WiFi, pellet stove, built-in kitchen with island, and a lounge area for meals.
Sleeping facilities include 2 bedrooms with 160 cm beds and a bedroom with bunk beds (4 beds in total). A bathroom with toilet is close to the bedrooms. A large garage on the lower level is available for storing bikes, motorcycles or parking a car if required. The laundry room with washing machine and dryer is in the garage.
Electric heating and pellet stove included - air-conditioning only in the living room. Outside, a large plot of land with plenty of shaded areas, a faÿsse with a stone barbecue, a lovely jeu de boules area. The gîte has a large terrace with an awning for your meals. So don't wait to book!
