Les Genêts

Stay in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche regional nature park, at the foot of the Tanargue massif, in the hamlet of Chastanet in the commune of Valgorge.
In a quiet, leafy setting, we've set up 2 Holiday cottages in an old, renovated stone house.
The two Holiday cottages have their own plot of land, bordering the stream below the cottage and facing the Mountain (not enclosed).
Each gîte has its own entrance and private terrace. The owners' garage is available for storing bicycles and small trailers.
Holiday cottage Les Genêts is reached by a few steps from the outside.
As you enter, you'll find a living room with a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a sofa bed and TV.
From this room, you can access the large, fully-covered terrace, which you'll appreciate for your meals. Beautiful views over the Ardèche countryside.
A separate toilet is located on this level.
On the lower level, a 1st bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a 2nd bedroom with 4 90 cm Bunk beds, the shower room with shower and WC.
Electric heating (not included).
The Holiday cottage is located at the far end of the hamlet. There are plenty of traffic-free lanes around the Holiday cottage for Kids to play in.
In the village, a farm with goats, sheep and a cheese factory are within walking distance of the Holiday cottage, as is the owners' Châtaigneraie, where you can stroll in the shade.
Swimming in the Beaume river 0.5 km away.
Nearby: the medieval villages of Largentière and Joyeuse and their Markets. Many villages with character, Hiking trails starting from the Holiday cottage.
Major shops 23 km away. The Ardèche gorges and caves and the Grotte Chauvet 2 - Ardèche are 30km away.
In autumn, chestnuts and mushrooms delight holidaymakers.
