Les Châtaigniers

At the foot of the Tanargue massif, in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche regional nature park, the Holiday cottage is located in the village of Chastanet, in the commune of Valgorge.
In a quiet, green setting, we have created 2 Holiday cottages in an old stone house that has been completely renovated.
Each Holiday cottage has its own entrance and private terrace. The owners' garage is available for storage of bicycles and small trailers.
Holiday cottage Les châtaigniers is accessed by a few steps from the outside.
On entering, you'll find a living room with a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with sofa bed and TV.
From here, you can access the large, fully-covered terrace, ideal for meals or socializing. From here, you have a beautiful view of the Ardèche countryside.
A separate toilet is located on this level.
On the lower level, you'll find a 1st bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a 2nd bedroom with 4 90 cm Bunk beds, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Heating is electric and not included. The only area shared by the 2 Holiday cottages is a sunken garden bordering a stream, which is very pleasant in summer.
The Holiday cottage is at the far end of the hamlet. All around the Holiday cottage are numerous traffic-free lanes where Kids can play.
In the village, there's a farm with a cheese dairy and the owners' chestnut grove where you can stroll in the shade.
The Beaume river is a great place for swimming, which you can reach on foot if you're feeling sporty. Numerous Hiking trails start from the Holiday cottage.
Nearby: the medieval villages of Largentière and Joyeuse, with their night markets, and many other charming villages to visit. 30 km away are the Gorges de l'Ardèche with its canoeing, the Pont d'Arc, the Grotte Chauvet 2 - Ardèche and many other caves to discover... Major shops 23 km away.
