Les Babélous

Les Babélous Holiday cottage is located in the wooded hills above Lalevade-d'Ardèche, halfway between the Ardèche Mountains and the southern Ardèche. It is 10 km from Aubenas and 7 km from the Thermal baths at Vals-les-Bains and Neyrac-Les-Bains.
The first thing holidaymakers admire on arrival is the view of the mountains. The Holiday cottage faces the rising sun, so you can enjoy the sun at breakfast and the shade of the garden and terrace in the middle of the afternoon. It is on two levels. Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen, living room with pellet stove, toilet and storeroom. Upstairs, 1 bedroom (1 x 140cm bed, 1 x 90cm bunk bed), 1 bedroom (1 x 160cm bed), shower room. The ground floor opens onto the terrace, which is equipped with garden furniture and a gas hob. There is a sunken garden with deckchairs, garden furniture, Kids' play equipment (slide, rocker) and access to the cellar, where bicycles can be stored. Parking is available on site, shared with the adjoining property.
The beds are made on arrival, and bathroom linen and towels are provided. The Holiday cottage is ideally situated for Hiking (GR 100 m away) and for discovering the villages of Jaujac, Meyras and Thueyts. 2 km from the Holiday cottage, there is a supervised beach on the banks of the Ardèche (only in July and August), as well as a large shady park. The "voie verte" starts from our village (bike hire 2 kms away in July and August), where you can see a beautiful bridge crossing the Ardèche. Curist rates on request for 3 weeks except July and August.
