Le Refuge des Remparts

Le Refuge des Remparts is housed in an old stone house in the old village of Rochemaure, classified as a Village de Caractère, at the foot of the fortifications of its Château. Access to the gîte is via the ancient streets of the medieval village. Free parking is available around 70 meters away. The gîte has a half-covered roof terrace with a panoramic view over the Rhône valley, the old village and its Château. It is laid out on 2 levels. On the 1st level, you'll find the living room with its lounge area (sofa, armchairs and TV), its fully-equipped living room/kitchen area with access to the terrace, a bedroom (1 x 160cm bed), a separate toilet and a laundry room. On the 2nd level, you'll find a 2nd bedroom (3 x 90 cm single beds and 1 x 80 cm extra bed), and a bathroom with toilet. Heating is electric. The gîte is non-smoking and pets are welcome. As the house has no grounds, you can take your pet for a walk in the village lanes. You're just 10 minutes by car from Montélimar, the gateway to Provence, giving you access to the tourist attractions of the Ardèche and Drôme regions. A water sports center is just 5 minutes away. Easy access: A7 15 minutes away.
