An authentic, verdant setting for 'Le Petit Sapet'. The gîte is located in a hamlet in the commune of St Victor. From the top of this high plateau, you can admire the unobstructed view of the Ardèche landscape, as well as the cows from the neighboring farm grazing in the meadows below.
It's in this peaceful setting that you'll find the stone house, attached on one side (year-round rental). The accommodation features a bright living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining area with large wooden table and sitting area with sofa, fireplace and TV. Warm and friendly atmosphere. A corridor leads to the two bedrooms: one with a 140cm bed, the other with two 90cm beds. Bathroom with bath and separate WC complete the property. Enjoy the view and country air from the terrace, complete with garden table and deckchairs. From the terrace, a staircase leads to a small garden, where young and old alike can enjoy themselves. There's also a bicycle shed (the garden has gated access). A second small terrace is located in front of the house, ideal for a quiet cup of coffee.
A rich and varied program awaits you during your stay: board the Train de l'Ardèche, take a ride on the Vélorail, discover the characterful village of Boucieu Le Roi or stroll through the local markets. On foot or by bike, there are many walks nearby, and swimming is possible at the St Félicien swimming pool (7km).
Beds are made on arrival and cleaning is included. Towels available for hire. Electric heating included, first flambé for the fireplace offered and additional wood available on request at extra cost, to be discussed with the owner.

Cat Gîte charmant
Gîte agréable malgré les mouches mais proche de la ferme donc un peu normal(les propriétaires vont remédier à cela par la pose de moustiquaires). Environnement très calme,vue superbe depuis la terrasse. Les ardéchois sont très sympathiques et accueillants. Les propriétaires sont des personnes simples et agréables et pour tout cela nous recommandons ce gîte.

Odoma Parfait pour se ressourcer
Séjour au Petit Sapet du 9 au 27 juillet. Malgré une réservation de dernière minute, Chris et Alain ont été très réactif et nous ont parfaitement accueilli.
Pour nous qui vivons toute l'année dans une grande ville, le Petit Sapet a été un endroit idéal, calme, reposant et ressourçant.
Prendre ses repas sur la terrasse est un régal avec cette vue dégagée:)
La maison est confortable et possède tout ce dont nous avions besoin.
Ce petit hameau ne comprend que 3 habitations, le Petit Sapet y compris, nous avons fait connaissance avec les voisins qui sont très sympathiques.
Avec notre fille, la ferme a proximité nous a permis de voir le rythme effréné et le dur travail du fermier entre les moissons et les vaches!!! c'était très intéressant et enrichissant, un vrai régal!
Evidemment qui dit vaches, dit certains jours, en fonction de la météo, mouches, mais après l'installation "d'anti mouches", cela n'a en rien entaché notre séjour.
Nous remercions Chris et Alain qui sont réactifs à nos demandes.

Nous sommes très heureux que votre séjour se soit bien passé et que vous ayez apprécié l'Ardèche.
Vous avez raison quand vous dites que les mouches sont parfois envahissantes. Aussi pour essayer d'améliorer tous ça,nous allons installer des moustiquaires sur deux fenêtres qui nous permettrons d'aérer sans l'inconvénient des insectes.
Merci encore, mais nous vous avons trouvé très sympathique comme les gens du sud savent l'être.
Peut être a un prochain séjour.
