Le Mas Lamel

Close to the village of Joyeuse, in the small hamlet of Le Bazalet, Mas Lamel is the ideal place to recharge your batteries and enjoy a vacation in a natural, authentic and attractive setting. Discover the wonderful landscapes of the Cévennes Ardéchoises and its picturesque villages. From the gîte, the owners can point you in the direction of numerous hiking trails. For a refreshing break, what better than the Drobie river, which you can reach on foot for good walkers, or 5 minutes by car. All shops and services in Joyeuse, about 20 minutes away.
The gîte has been completely renovated and divided into 2 separate parts, while retaining the soul of the house and hamlet: modern comforts combined with old-fashioned decor.
On the first part of the house :
. first floor: living room with fitted kitchen, cosy lounge, 2 bedrooms (140cm bed), 1 small bathroom with shower and WC
. fully air-conditioned first floor: 2 bedrooms (one with 140cm bed and sofa bed, the other with 2 120cm beds, ideal for children), 1 shower room with multi-jet shower and WC, another living room, very atypical with its dark stone wall, appreciated for watching TV, playing Nintendo Switch or simply reading.

A veranda with sliding glass doors gives access to the vaulted gallery, a large living room ideal for meals together.
From here, access to the 2nd part of the house :
. first floor: fitted kitchen opening onto a living room with fireplace, terrace access, shower room and toilet
. first floor: 2 bedrooms (one with a 140cm bed, the other with 2 90cm beds).
And last but not least, you'll love the gîte's outdoor spaces. Between the small shaded terrace, the large garden that can also be used as a petanque court, and the 10-hectare hilltop plot, you'll never be bored, young or old. Pets accepted with a cleaning supplement. Beds made on arrival and towels extra.
