Ideally located, you can explore the tourist attractions of our beautiful region, starting with the medieval village of Joyeuse, with its "Castanéa" chestnut discovery area, then of course the famous Ardèche Gorges with its Pont d'Arc and the Grotte Chauvet2-Ardèche cave (around 20kms away), the listed villages of Balazuc and Vogüé, the Chassezac Valley, the Bois de Païolive and the La Beaume gorges. For a taste of the Ardèche, don't forget the local markets in Joyeuse, Les Vans, Largentière and Lablachère. Sports enthusiasts will love the many activities available in the Ardèche: hiking, mountain biking, canoeing on the Chassezac or Ardèche rivers, climbing, swimming...
The gîte is close to the owners' house, but has a large private plot with parking. An outside staircase (5 steps) leads up to a veranda, with its large sliding windows providing plenty of light for reading or drinking coffee. From here, you enter the living room with its modern, fully-equipped fitted kitchen. For your relaxation, the living room features a large flat-screen TV and a quality convertible sofa (for 2 extra beds). The bathroom, with shower and toilet, is accessible from either the living room or the bedroom. The bedroom is spacious and bright, with a 160 cm double bed. For your comfort, all rooms are air-conditioned, the bed is made on arrival, bathroom linen is provided and housekeeping is included. Outside, an area with garden furniture, deckchairs and a plancha lets you take full advantage of the peaceful surroundings. A real vacation in prospect!
