The setting is exceptional, surrounded by acres of forest.
This beautiful, fully-renovated Cévennes house is located in the heart of the Cévennes, 12 km from Joyeuse (a pretty medieval town with a lovely Wednesday market), in the hamlet of Le Fourret.
The site is ideal for hiking and cycling. River swimming on the Beaume and Drobie rivers 10 km away.
Vallon Pont d'Arc and the Ardèche gorges are 45 minutes away, not forgetting the many caves and villages of character.
Elisabeth and Thierry, the owners, live on site. They are very discreet and will be delighted to welcome you to the gîte "Le Mas du Fourret" for your vacations in the heart of nature, surrounded by pines and mimosas.
Access to the gîte is via a small road that winds for 2 km through the forest and then stops at the Mas. A change of scenery and a change of scenery guaranteed!
The gîte is comfortable and warm. On autumn or winter evenings, you'll love sitting on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove (wood provided) (additional sleeping space available in the living room).
On the first floor, you'll find a fully-equipped fitted kitchen with dining area, and a shower room with toilet.
Upstairs is the bright, spacious bedroom with 180 cm bed (accessed via a wooden spiral staircase).
Outside, a charming garden is reserved for you to enjoy your meals or simply admire the scenery. What a relaxing picture before you!
