In the heart of Vogüé, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, the Le Jeu de Boules holiday cottage invites you to enjoy an authentic getaway in a setting steeped in history.
Nestled below the castle, in the picturesque alleyways of the old village, it boasts a rare and precious feature: a magnificent, flower-filled, shaded, and fully enclosed inner courtyard—a true haven of peace where you can unwind after a day of exploring.

In this courtyard, several areas have been set up to help you make the most of sunny days. You can enjoy meals al fresco, relax in the shade, and even rediscover the simple pleasures of yesteryear with a game of pétanque—which inspired the holiday cottage’s name.
A pleasant covered terrace extends the living space and allows you to enjoy breakfasts and meals in any season.

Built on one level, the holiday cottage offers a comfortable interior. The living area combines a living room with a dining nook, a sofa, and a built-in kitchen overlooking the garden.
For sleeping arrangements, three inviting bedrooms are furnished with charming period pieces. The first has a 140-size bed, the second has a 140-size bed and an additional 90-size bed, while the third, overlooking the courtyard, is equipped with a 140-size double bed.
A bathroom with a large shower and a separate toilet complete the space.

For optimal comfort during the cooler months, the holiday cottage is equipped with underfloor heating (heating surcharge from October to April).

The location is ideal for leaving your car behind during your stay.
Just 50 meters away, Vogüé Beach awaits you for swimming and relaxing by the Ardèche River. The nearby greenway offers magnificent panoramic views of the river and the village. Outdoor enthusiasts can set off on foot directly for a canoe trip down the Ardèche.

From the holiday cottage, set out to discover the treasures of the Southern Ardèche. Stroll through the medieval streets of Vogüé, visit its castle overlooking the valley, explore the charming villages of Balazuc and Labeaume, admire the spectacular landscapes of the Ardèche Gorges and the Pont d’Arc, or delve into human history at the Chauvet 2 Cave.

During the summer months, restaurants, ice cream shops, and local shops bring the village to life. A bakery and a convenience store are less than one kilometer away.
The owners will also be delighted to show you their photography exhibition, “Vogüé d’autrefois,” a space dedicated to the village’s history and heritage, located right next to the holiday cottage.

The upstairs apartment, with a separate entrance, can accommodate up to 4 people and can be rented together with the holiday cottage for a total capacity of 10 people.
Two small dogs are allowed.
