In the heart of southern Ardèche, the Holiday cottage du Four à Pain invites you to take a gentle break in Saint-Maurice-d'Ibie, in the typical hamlet of Les Salèlles. Here, stone houses, vaulted passageways and ancient alleyways create an authentic setting. You're in the heart of the wild Ibie valley, just 12 km from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, the Gorges de l'Ardèche and Grotte Chauvet 2, an exceptional replica listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This Ardèche-style Semi-detached house is built of local stone and has its own entrance accessed by an outside stone staircase. The Holiday cottage is laid out on two levels (steep interior staircase), and offers a peaceful setting conducive to relaxation. You'll enjoy two sunny terraces, one of which is covered, with unobstructed views over the garrigue and vineyards.

The interior is warm and functional, with a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto the living room with dining area and comfortable sitting area with sofa and wood-burning stove. Upstairs, the sleeping area comprises two interconnecting bedrooms: the first with two 90 cm single beds, with access to the second with a 140 cm double bed. An ideal configuration for a family. Finally, a bathroom with shower and WC. The Holiday cottage is also equipped for babies.

There's plenty to do around the Holiday cottage: Swimming in the river Ibie 2 km away (Trou de la Lune) or in the Ardèche, Hiking from the cottage, canoeing under the Pont d'Arc, caves, the Aven d'Orgnac site, the Lavender Museum, Melvita discoveries, farmers' markets, wine cellars and tastings, cycling, the Vals-les-Bains Thermal Baths. Restaurant a few steps from the Holiday cottage and another 4 km away.
