A few minutes from Aubenas, in the countryside, Cécile and Gilbert welcome you to the "Gîte de Chavade" for your vacations or weekends in southern Ardèche. For your convenience, all local shops are within 1 km of the village. Ideal location for discovering the exceptional sites of southern Ardèche: the Ardèche Gorges, the Pont d'Arc and the Grotte Chauvet 2, the medieval towns of Joyeuse and Largentière and their beautiful markets, the listed villages of Balazuc, Chassiers, Labeaume, Ailhon... The Ardèche is also a limitless playground for all sports enthusiasts: cyclists, hikers, climbers, ULM thrill-seekers, etc. A "voie verte" can take you from Lachapelle to Grospierres via Vogüé. And if you want to cool off, there are plenty of swimming spots on the Ardèche at Balazuc, Vogüé and Ruoms, or on the Beaume near Joyeuse.
The gîte is spacious, comfortable and fully air-conditioned. It has a large terrace (approx. 60m²) with a sunshade, for relaxing or dining outside, with a multi-game table soccer.
It adjoins the owner's house, but has its own entrance.
A few steps from the terrace will take you to the first floor, offering a large living room/kitchen with exposed stonework and a toilet.
Upstairs, a mezzanine lounge area, a bedroom with 2 90cm beds (convertible to 1 180cm bed on request), a bedroom with a 160cm bed, a shower room.
Cot and high chair available on request. Heating included. Bike room available on request.
Air conditioning and mosquito nets in all rooms. For your convenience, beds are made up on arrival.
