Le Cros de Mazoyer

Old stones, tranquility and nature are the watchwords of the "Le Cros de Mazoyer" gîte, located in Ardèche, near Lamastre. Set in the heart of an old family farmhouse, it has been lovingly renovated by the owner and his children with respect for the past. A living environment filled with gentleness and serenity. Far from the hustle and bustle, access to this peaceful place in the middle of nature is via a stony path.

Enjoy the peace and quiet and the view of the surrounding forest from the terrace in front of the house, where you'll find a garden table, barbecue and deckchairs. The gîte is arranged over two floors, with a studio on the top floor for the owner to stay when he's away. The interior of the gîte is a cosy nest with a warm atmosphere. On the ground floor, there are two living areas: a fully-equipped kitchen with dining table, and a sitting room with wood-burning stove (wood supplied). Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a 160cm bed and the second with two 90cm beds. For young parents, a changing table is available in one of the bedrooms, and a cot and high chair are available on request. Bathroom with shower, vanity unit and washing machine on ground floor. Separate WC on each floor.

Nature abounds all around the gîte, so why not discover the local flora and fauna? There are also numerous hiking trails nearby. For cyclists, the Dolce Via is close by (90 km of soft path). During your stay, discover the region's rich heritage, including the characterful village of Désaignes and the Train de l'Ardèche in the Doux Valley. A number of bathing spots await you in the midst of these verdant landscapes: plan d'eau des Salins (Désaignes), plan d'eau de Retourtour (Lamastre), base aquatique Eyrium (Les Nonières) or lac de Devesset.
