Imagine having breakfast to the sound of birdsong and enjoying a sublime view of the mountains. A real break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Located in the Cévennes ardéchoises, in the heart of the Chassezac valley, Ferdinand, the owner, has converted the gîte into a former village school dating back to 1850.
There's a wide choice of hiking and mountain-biking trails in and around the gîte. Lovely river bathing spots are also nearby and are sure to entice you. For shops and services, you'll find the village of Les Vans about 12 km away, famous for its authentic Saturday morning market.

This is a pretty detached house for 2 to 3 people, with a small enclosed garden shaded by a lovely pergola. Ideal for relaxing in the sun on the armchairs or admiring the view from the dining table.

The gîte is on 2 levels. On the ground floor, there's a pleasant living room with an integrated kitchenette, a sitting area with a sofa bed in front of the fireplace, and a separate toilet. Accessed by a spiral staircase, you'll find a large bedroom with a 160cm bed and a 90cm bed, a bathroom with shower opening onto the bedroom, and a separate toilet.

For cooler seasons, there's electric heating upstairs and a fireplace.
