In the heart of a peaceful hamlet in central Ardèche, you'll be staying in an unspoilt natural setting in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Park.

The commune of Saint-Joseph-des-Bancs, 25 km from Privas and Aubenas, offers breathtaking scenery. In this remote area, you can enjoy the simple pleasures of nature: Hiking, Biking, Fishing. Hélène and René, your hosts, will be delighted to show you their little corner of paradise, their region and its heritage, including the restoration of an old mill. Every season is a delight: in autumn, pick chestnuts for roast; in spring, go mushroom-picking; in summer, picnic by the stream below the hamlet.

The village is just a few kilometers away from a restaurant and municipal outdoor Piscine. Want to get moving? There's plenty of choice: visit the picturesque village of Antraigues-sur-Volane, relax at the Vals-les-Bains thermal baths or climb the famous Mont Gerbier des Joncs.

The Chalet Le Cèdre, with its eco-friendly design and Tourism and Handicap label, combines comfort and practicality for a relaxing stay. Enjoy a stroll on the terrace with its panoramic view. The single-storey layout features a convivial living area with two bedrooms and an accessible shower room. The kitchen area is functional and fully equipped. A dining area suitable for four people, a cozy sofa, a TV and a pellet stove complete the picture. The first bedroom, adapted for people with reduced mobility, has a 140 cm double bed, while the second has two 90 cm beds. The bathroom has been designed for PMR accessibility, with an adapted shower, washbasin and WC.
