The commune of Saint-Joseph-des-Bancs, 25 km from Privas and Aubenas, offers breathtaking scenery. In this remote area, you can enjoy the simple pleasures of nature: Hiking, Biking, Fishing. Hélène and René, your hosts, will be delighted to show you their little corner of paradise, their region and its heritage, including the restoration of an old mill. Each season has something to offer: in autumn, pick chestnuts for roast; in spring, go mushroom-picking; in summer, picnic by the stream below the hamlet. A restaurant and a municipal open-air swimming pool are available in the village, just a few kilometers away. Want to get moving? There's plenty to choose from: visit the picturesque village of Antraigues-sur-Volane, relax at the Vals-les-Bains thermal baths or climb the famous Mont Gerbier des Joncs. The Chalet Le Cèdre, which has been ecologically designed and holds the Tourism and Handicap label, combines comfort and practicality for a relaxing stay. Enjoy a stroll on the terrace with its panoramic view. The single-storey layout features a convivial living area with two bedrooms and an accessible shower room. The kitchen area is functional and fully equipped. A four-person dining area, cozy sofa, TV and pellet stove complete the picture. The first bedroom, adapted for people with reduced mobility, has a 140 cm double bed, while the second has two 90 cm beds. The bathroom has been designed for PMR accessibility, with an adapted shower, washbasin and WC. Private parking space in front of the gîte.
