It's an architect-designed house built into the hillside, on a sunny plot planted with olive trees, 4 of which are over a hundred years old. It was the beauty of the landscape and the panoramic view of the town of Aubenas and its château that prompted me to build 'Le Cabanon du Designer'. The place, the landscape and the architecture provide an ideal setting for rest, rejuvenation or simply an exceptional vacation. The singularity of the architecture and the triangular shape of the building now seem to embrace the shape of the land. The simple, effective use of materials (unfinished concrete, local wood, bamboo, thick insulation and a green roof) makes the various indoor and outdoor spaces extremely comfortable to live in. Le Cabanon du Designer is equipped with lighting fixtures, furniture and accessories that have left their mark on the history of design. You'll be captivated by the panoramic view from the shaded terrace. There's also a small garden below, where you can relax or read a book.
Inside, you'll find a large living room with fully-equipped fitted kitchen, a sitting area ideally situated in front of the large bay windows, 1 bedroom with bay window directly onto the terrace, equipped with a 140cm bed, 1 bedroom equipped with a 160cm bed, shower room with large shower, separate toilet. Electric heating and wood-burning stove. Sheets and towels available on request. Lockable bicycle storage.
