L'Auzène

In the heart of the Ardèche, 8 km from Saint Sauveur de Montagut and the Eyrieux Valley, you'll find this house in a privileged setting. Whether you're a nature lover, fisherman or swimmer, you'll be amazed by this secluded spot between forest and river.

Nestled at the end of a bridge over a small country road is this bucolic gîte. On the banks of the river of the same name, l'Auzène is a pleasant house with a completely renovated interior. The exposed stonework bears witness to the history of the place. On the ground floor, you'll find a pleasant living room with dining area and sitting area with wood-burning stove (wood supplied), the ideal place to meet up after a nice walk in the Ardéchois mountains. The country-style kitchen is fully equipped. A toilet is also available on this level. Upstairs are the three bedrooms, two with 140cm beds and one with a 160cm bed, as well as the shower room (with shower and WC). To complete the picture, a games room is located upstairs, with sofas, TV and children's games.

Outside, there's something for everyone: fishing, swimming in the river below (natural private access), relaxing in the garden, or playing ping-pong or darts. A country-style gîte, ideal for a relaxing and convivial stay. And after a busy day, why not join us on the terrace for a drink and a good meal on the gas plancha and pizza oven!

You're ideally located for discovering the heart of the Ardèche, a lush, green region with numerous hiking trails, a "voie douce" (the Dolce Via), a water adventure park (Aquarock), typical villages, local markets and numerous festivals.
