La Sittelle

In the heart of the Cévennes, the La Sitelle Holiday cottage invites you to experience an authentic, nature-focused interlude. Set against the backdrop of the Ardèche mountains, it offers a panoramic view over a rich landscape of forests, hills and wildlife, enhanced by starry skies. Situated at the foot of the Saint Appolonie hill, this detached house houses two Holiday cottages and is a haven for lovers of peace and open spaces.
Just 5 kilometers from Les Vans, a charming village in the south of the Ardèche region that is lively all year round, you'll find all the shops you need, a well-known local Market and a friendly atmosphere. La Sitelle, with its two-storey interior and located on the first floor of the house, can accommodate up to 10 people.
As soon as you enter, you'll be seduced by the light-filled, wood-beamed living room, open to the outside thanks to large panoramic windows, and featuring a convivial dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen and a living room with sofas and fireplace, perfect for getting together after a day's Hiking or on winter evenings.
The first floor also features a bedroom with a double bed (140cm), a bedroom with two single beds (80cm) and a single bed (90cm), an accessible bathroom with shower and small bathtub suitable for Kids, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, a mezzanine offers a relaxation area with games, library, sofa and an additional single bed (90cm). Two attic bedrooms are available, one with a 140cm bed and the other with two 80cm beds and a 90cm bed. Outside, a private, partly shaded terrace lets you take full advantage of the natural surroundings, while a vast 4-hectare plot of land, shared with the second Holiday cottage, offers ideal freedom for young and old alike. Kids' games, table tennis and shared laundry facilities complete the facilities. Nearby, you can discover the Chassezac gorges on foot or by canoe, the characterful villages of Banne or Naves, local markets and numerous hiking trails in the heart of unspoilt nature. Accessible to people with reduced mobility, the Holiday cottage can also be rented with the whole house to accommodate up to 15 people, ideal for stays with family or friends, in a rejuvenating and inspiring setting.
