La Remise

In the heart of southern Ardèche, in the charming village of Labastide de Virac, at the gateway to the majestic Ardèche Gorges, La Remise holiday cottage welcomes you for a stay filled with relaxation, nature, and exploration.

Behind its beautiful stone facades, this cozy home blends authenticity with comfort. The colorful artwork created by the owner adds an artistic and welcoming touch to every room.
Spread over two levels, the holiday cottage offers spacious living areas where you can share precious moments with family or friends.

On the ground floor, you’ll enjoy a pleasant living area with a fully equipped open kitchen, a dining area, and a comfortable living room with a TV and fireplace. A pantry/laundry room and a separate restroom complete this level.

Upstairs, everyone will find their own space to rest. A master suite with a 160-cm bed features its own private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Two other bedrooms are available, one with two 90-cm beds and the other with a 160-cm bed. A bathroom with a bathtub and a second separate toilet are also available.

When the weather is nice, the covered terrace becomes the perfect spot to enjoy meals outdoors. The barbecue lets you extend your evenings under the Ardèche sky.

The fully enclosed courtyard invites you to relax, basking in the sun or under the soothing shade of the trees.
A garage is also available to store motorcycles, bicycles, or recreational equipment.

Located along a departmental road, the holiday cottage offers quick and easy access to explore the most beautiful sites in southern Ardèche.
Motorcycle enthusiasts will appreciate the winding roads offering exceptional panoramic views. Cyclists can take the greenways and the many small roads in the Countryside. Hikers will find, starting from the village, numerous trails leading to remarkable viewpoints over the Ardèche Gorges and the famous Pont d’Arc.

Just a few minutes away, enjoy swimming in the river, canoe trips, markets, and numerous outdoor activities.

The lively center of Vallon Pont d’Arc, located about ten minutes away, offers shops, restaurants, entertainment, and sports activities.
Don’t miss a visit to the Aven d’Orgnac, a “Grand Site de France,” or an exploration of the fascinating Chauvet 2 Cave.

Daily life is made easier by the Small grocery store with a bread counter located right across from the cottage. There are also two restaurants in the village.

For your convenience, bed linen is provided upon arrival. Towels are available as an optional extra.

Four-legged friends are welcome, provided they are respectful of the holiday cottage and outdoor areas.
