La Maison Vieille

In the heart of the rolling green Countryside of the Haut Vivarais in Ardèche, enjoy a stay in a typical 16th-century farmhouse that has been tastefully restored with respect for its original features. Spacious and comfortable, it's the ideal place to gather with family, friends or business.

Marie Claude and Patrick, the owners, live on site and warmly welcome you to their two eco-gites. In July and August, no arrivals on Saturday-Sunday.
The Holiday cottage de la Maison Vieille, on three levels, can accommodate up to 12 people. On the ground floor, there's a bedroom with two 80 x 200 beds (convertible into a 160 bed), a bathroom with shower, separate WC and a laundry room. The second floor features a large living room with wood-burning stove (wood supplied), built-in kitchen and sitting area with sofas, armchairs and flat-screen TV. On the second floor, there are four bedrooms, three with 140cm beds and one with 4 80cm beds (which can be converted into 2 160cm beds), two shower rooms and two WCs (one of which is separate).

Enjoy the sunny days in the enclosed, private, non-adjoining garden, equipped with garden furniture, stone barbecue and deckchairs.
Nearby animals (chickens, donkeys, sheep) add a rural touch and will delight young and old alike.

The hamlet of Saint Gris is an ideal base for exploring the region. Board the Ardèche train for a picturesque ride, take a rail bike tour, visit the charming City of Tournon-sur-Rhône and discover the chocolate delights of Valrhona. Hikers and cyclists won't be disappointed with the many itineraries in the area.

By prior arrangement, a separate room (approx. 28m²) is available for a workshop, meeting or social gathering. Video projector and screen available on loan.
Bed linen included, towels and housekeeping optional. Baby equipment on request.
