Mamée was the nickname given to their grandmother by owners Mireille and Pierre. The gîte, a family home since 1828, has retained the spirit of a summer vacation in the country, with its simple, sober, all-stone living.
From the gîte's terrace, you can breathe in nature, with a panoramic view of the forests and mountains of the Ardèche.
Take a break from reading in the gîte's inner courtyard, in the shade of the wisteria and the 50-year-old fig tree, or in the large adjoining private garden.

The place has to be earned! For the last few kilometers to the pretty hamlet of Le Fayet, you'll have to take a charming but narrow road.
Nearby, you'll find the pretty medieval villages of Largentière and Joyeuse with all amenities.
Many activities are available:
-Discover the villages of character: Balazuc, Labeaume, Vogüé....
-Canoeing in the Ardèche Gorges
-Visit the mythical Grotte Chauvet2-Ardèche.
-For the more sporty, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and via ferrata.

The gîte is on the 1st floor of the house. It can be reached by an outside stone staircase (dating from the house) or by a few steps from an alleyway.
Two terraces are ideal for meals and evenings out: one fully covered, the other open (36 m2) with garden furniture, facing south and shaded by canvas.
Inside: fitted kitchen, shower room, storeroom, 2 separate wc. At night, 3 bedrooms (each with a 160cm bed) and a through bedroom with a bunk bed (90x90) for your children.
For your convenience, beds are made up on arrival and towels provided.
Private parking in front of the gîte, and motorcycles and bicycles in the courtyard.
