La Magnanerie du Mas d'Aval

Between the Ardèche Gorges and the Ardèche Plateau, on the edge of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park, the Holiday cottage is located 3 km from the medieval town of Largentière. Overlooking the southern Ardèche, Mas d'Aval, a centuries-old hamlet, extends over four hectares on the hillside. You'll be charmed by its architecture, old stones, earthenware and magnificent views... It comprises three adjoining magnanerie farmhouses, in one of which we have created the Holiday cottage La Magnanerie du Mas d'Aval. While preserving the authenticity of the site, with its sandstone slabs and lime rendering, we have kept as much as possible of the original volumes to create particularly spacious rooms. To further enhance your comfort, we paid particular attention to the choice of materials used during the renovation.
The Holiday cottage also offers a pleasant Piscine for cooling off from June to September.
A stone staircase leads to the interior of the Holiday cottage. It also gives access to a lovely covered terrace where you can enjoy breakfast overlooking the garden. There's a cosy living room with pellet stove, TV and fully equipped kitchen. The 1st bedroom is spacious, with a 160cm bed and 2 90cm beds, one of which is a bunk bed. The 2nd bedroom has a 140cm bed. A shower room with Italian shower and WC is located on the same level, as well as a second independent WC. Upstairs, you'll find an extra bed for 2 people. Linen and towels available on request. Electric heating. Gas plancha available.
