La Forge

Located in the Monts d'Ardèche nature park, the Holiday cottage "La Forge" is the 2nd independent stone cottage in the hamlet of "La Grange". You'll be able to relax in the wood-heated Swedish Jacuzzi (please contact us before you arrive to arrange this) and enjoy the shared Piscine*. From the panoramic terrace, you'll enjoy a magnificent view of the village of Labatie d'Andaure and the Doux Valley. Hiking trails start from the Holiday cottage. For river fishing enthusiasts, the Doux is just below the gîte, plus a whitewater fishing course and pond in an old mill 2 km from the gîte. The fully renovated Holiday cottage "La Forge" has 2 levels and a large wooden terrace with panoramic views. On the ground floor, a beautiful living room with quality built-in kitchenette with central island, sofa with wood-burning stove (free wood), Tv. Bathroom with walk-in shower and wall-hung toilet. Upstairs: 1 bedroom ( 1 bed 160 cm X 200 cm ), 1 bedroom ( 1 bed 140 cm X 190 cm ). For your comfort, beds will be made on arrival and bathroom linen and towels are provided. 5 km away, you'll find the village of Desaignes, a village with character, a grocery store and a pizzeria. 10 km away, you'll find all the shops you need in Lamastre, as well as Tuesday and Saturday morning markets, the Ardèche tourist train, and the departure point of the Vélo Rail in Boucieu le Roi (a village full of character). The Dolce Via green cycling route, departing from Lamastre.
