La Chataigneraie

At the edge of a chestnut forest, in the heart of the Ardèche, lies this pleasant house. You're in the commune of Beauvène, just outside the village, on the edge of a small country road. Away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy a stay close to nature, in a peaceful setting with an unobstructed view of the Ardèche hills.

Serenity, peace and relaxation on the gîte's terrace, where you can enjoy a meal while admiring the view of the listed village of Chalençon in the distance. The small plot below is perfect for a nap in the grass while listening to the birdsong. Inside the gîte, you'll find a living room with fully-equipped kitchenette, lounge and sitting area. A corridor leads to the 3 bedrooms: the first with a 140cm bed, the second with two 80cm beds and the third with two 90cm beds. For summer days, reversible air conditioning is available in the living room and one of the bedrooms. Finally, there's a shower room with walk-in shower, vanity unit and WC. A well-kept gîte in a rural setting for a relaxing vacation!

During your stay, you can explore the unspoilt countryside and authentic villages on foot or by bike. The "Dolce Via" is ideal for exploring the Eyrieux valley on two wheels. Several bathing spots await you nearby: the EYRIUM water park (15km), the Aquarock adventure park (18km) or the Lac aux Ramiers in Vernoux En Vivarais (20km). Gourmets won't be disappointed! Take advantage of the local markets to sample delicious local produce. In autumn, the Castagnades are organized in several villages to celebrate the department's emblematic fruit: the chestnut!
