Welcome to "La Castagnère" Holiday cottage! It's in a small hamlet just a few minutes from the pretty village of Les Vans in the southern Cévennes ardéchoises, where a multitude of activities await you for a dream vacation.
For a refreshing swim, you can choose between the nearby Chassezac or Sûre rivers. Many hiking trails invite you to discover an exceptional heritage, notably in the Bois de Païolive, populated by ruiniform rocks.
You can also explore the beautiful villages of Naves, Banne, Thines, Labeaume... Markets selling local produce are everywhere to delight your taste buds...
Here you'll find a Countryside atmosphere with all modern comforts.
On the 1st level, the spacious living room/kitchen opens onto the large covered terrace with gas barbecue, shower room with toilet. A 2nd small terrace overlooks the hamlet, ideal for morning coffee.
2nd floor: one bedroom with a 160cm bed, one bedroom with a 140cm bed, one bedroom with two 80cm beds (convertible to a 160cm bed), bathroom and separate toilet.
Central heating by heat pump.
The small courtyard features a barbecue and an authentic pizza oven. An enclosed vaulted room with fridge, hob and oven is ideal for cooking and enjoying the outdoors.

FTB Un très beau gîte
Un très beau gîte, bien aménagé, que l'on sent chargé d'histoire, présentant différents espaces qui permettent soit de se retrouver soit de s'isoler selon les besoins du moment. Une grande terrasse abritée invite à prendre tous les repas en extérieur sans souffrir ni de la chaleur ni des intempéries. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire et site propice à de très nombreuses activités dans un périmètre assez proche : randonnée dans de très beaux paysages, visites de grottes, natation en rivière ou en complexe aquatique, canoë kayak, accrobranche et pumptrack.

Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil , vos cadeaux de bienvenue, ainsi que vos recommandations par rapport aux visites, baignades.Seul problème, il a fait très très chaud, et nous n'avons pu faire tout ce que nous voulions !!! Mais, là, franchement , je crois que vous n'y êtes pour rien!!! En tout cas un grand merci aussi pour le gîte .Nous n'avons pas pu profité de tout (notamment le barbecue ) vacances trop courtes.

tres bon sejour a chambonas avec un accueil parfait.maison tres agreable avec tout le neccessaire.Un cadeau de bienvenu que nous avons apprecie.Je recommande cette location qui en plus tres bien placee pour les visites en Ardeche.

Clo51 Gîte au top !!!
La maison est très belle, décoré avec soin et super bien équipée. En plus,Terrasse au soleil pour le petit déjeuner, juste parfait.
Propriétaire accueillant et très sympathique.
