Stay in one of the 2 guest rooms harmoniously decorated by Rachel and David. Recently restored with taste and passion, this guest house, a former coaching inn dating from 1787, is nestled in the hills above Jaujac. An ideal place to recharge your batteries in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park. Jaujac, a small village full of character, is famous for its three medieval castles and its basalt flows. La Babounette is just a 5-minute drive from shops, cafés, restaurants and an ice-cream parlour....On the central square, there's summer entertainment and a farmers' market on Tuesday and Friday mornings. A very pleasant environment, ideal for a wide range of activities: hiking on marked trails in the Monts d'Ardèche, swimming in the river, discovering the emblematic villages of Antraïgues, Vogüé, Balazuc, Joyeuse... not forgetting the famous Gorges de l'Ardèche, its Pont d'Arc and the Grotte Chauvet2 Ardèche about 45 kms away.
On-site, shared outdoor swimming pool (9mx5) (open from April to October, heated) and jacuzzi. A pool house with a fully-equipped communal kitchen (microwave, fridge, barbecue....) is reserved for your meals, aperitifs... Breakfast is served on one of the various terraces. A private parking lot is available, as is parking for two-wheelers.
At night, 2 bedrooms on the 1st level of the house, with independent entrances:
The 1st bedroom, "Ladenne", has a 160cm bed (convertible into 2 80cm beds on request), a private shower room with jetted shower cubicle and toilet.
The 2nd bedroom, "Edelweiss", has a 160 cm bed (convertible into 2 80 cm beds on request), a shower room and separate toilet.
Both have air-conditioning and flat-screen TV. Bed linen and towels provided, beds made up on arrival.
