Gîte Rural de la Ferme de Simondon

Come to the Ardèche, near the Rhone Valley, for a revitalizing break in a unique setting: a fully restored 18th-century hamlet with swimming pool, leisure facilities, restaurant and panoramic views!

Perched on a plateau at an altitude of 480 metres, La Ferme de Simondon welcomes you for a relaxing break. In the heart of this family hamlet in northern Ardèche, you'll find a campsite with around 30 pitches, three holiday cottages, a bed and breakfast and the "Le Simondon" restaurant, open evenings in summer and weekends the rest of the year (information on opening times 04 69 24 14 27).

On arrival, you'll be immediately seduced by the authenticity of the premises and the unobstructed view. There's no time for boredom here, with a heated* outdoor swimming pool and plenty of play areas for all ages: petanque pitch, trampoline, slide and gaming room with table tennis, table soccer and library. The presence of farm animals - donkeys, sheep and chickens - adds a rural touch to your stay.

Set in the heart of a hamlet lane, the Holiday cottage is on two levels. The ground floor features a fully-equipped kitchen with dining area, followed by a comfortable living room with sofa, armchairs and TV. A double-sided fireplace, shared by the living room and kitchen, creates a cosy atmosphere on winter evenings. A bathroom with shower and toilet completes this level. Upstairs is the attic bedroom with a 140cm bed. Outside, a small shaded terrace with garden furniture invites you to take a stroll.

For nature lovers, Hiking and cycling trails are close at hand, offering plenty of opportunities to explore the surrounding area. Let yourself be surprised by the Rhône Valley: Train de l'Ardèche, Cruise on the Rhône, Wine cellars, Cité du chocolat, ... There's something for everyone!
