Gîte du Gecko en Ardèche

Come and enjoy a charming stay in a former silkworm farm with a lovely wooded garden and shared swimming pool. The Gîte du Gecko is located in the small hamlet of Trignan in the commune of Saint Marcel d'Ardèche.

You're at the gateway to the Gorges de l'Ardèche, the department's emblem. In the heart of this impressive canyon, a multitude of activities await you: swimming, canoeing, hiking, caving, etc. Take advantage of your stay to admire the beauty and charm of the surrounding villages: Saint Montan, Alba La Romaine or Aiguèze. One of the region's must-sees is Grotte Chauvet 2, 25km away, the oldest testimony to human art.

Comfort and serenity for your stay. As soon as you enter the property, you'll find a courtyard where you can easily park your vehicle (with the option of electric car charging*). Enjoy a stroll in the pleasant 1800 m² enclosed garden, or take a refreshing dip in the shared swimming pool**. The gîte is located on the 1st floor of the beautiful stone house where the owners live. This cosy nest has independent access via an outside staircase and a private terrace with pergola. The accommodation comprises an air-conditioned living room with dining area and sitting area with sofa bed. The separate kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom, with its comfortable 180cm bed (convertible into 2 90cm beds) and air-conditioning, promises restful nights. Finally, there's a shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet. The meticulous decor combines contemporary and authentic styles. Everything has been thought of to guarantee you a stay in the best possible conditions: WIFI included, shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron/ironing board, and shared entertainment room (library, table soccer, board games, etc.). A ping-pong table is also available.

An all-inclusive offer: bed linen included with beds made up on arrival, towels supplied and housekeeping included.
