You're at the gateway to the Gorges de l'Ardèche, the department's emblem. In the heart of this impressive canyon, a multitude of activities await you: swimming, canoeing, hiking, caving, etc. Take advantage of your stay to admire the beauty and charm of the surrounding villages: Saint Montan, Alba La Romaine or Aiguèze. One of the region's must-sees is Grotte Chauvet 2, 25km away, the oldest testimony to human art.
Comfort and serenity for your stay. As soon as you enter the property, you'll find a courtyard where you can easily park your vehicle (with the option of electric car charging*). Enjoy a stroll in the pleasant 1800 m² enclosed garden, or take a refreshing dip in the shared swimming pool**. The gîte is located on the 1st floor of the beautiful stone house where the owners live. This cosy nest has independent access via an outside staircase and a private terrace with pergola. The accommodation comprises an air-conditioned living room with dining area and sitting area with sofa bed. The separate kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom, with its comfortable 180cm bed (convertible into 2 90cm beds) and air-conditioning, promises restful nights. Finally, there's a shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet. The meticulous decor combines contemporary and authentic styles. Everything has been thought of to guarantee you a stay in the best possible conditions: WIFI included, shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron/ironing board, and shared entertainment room (library, table soccer, board games, etc.). A ping-pong table is also available.
An all-inclusive offer: bed linen included with beds made up on arrival, towels supplied and housekeeping included.

5/5Une semaine exceptionnelle dans ce gîte
Très bien aménagé, très confortable, très propre.
La piscine, le baby foot, le ping-pong et j’en passe, on ne s’ennuie pas.
Les hôtes vous donnent de super conseils pour les visites, les randonnées, tout est inscrit dans un cahier.
En plus, il est super bien situé, au calme mais non loin des commerces ou des activités comme le canoë dans les gorges de l’Ardèche.

Wonderful Stay In Ardeche
5/5We had a wonderful stay at Gecko Gite. The owners, Jean-Marc and Ann were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay but were also respectful of our privacy. Gecko Gite had everything we could possibly want for our holiday. It was very modern and stylish and was also very well equipped. It was clean and tidy and like a home from home. We really enjoyed the pool which was well kept every day. The gite's location was great and close to lovely villages, beaches in Ardeche and great restaurants. We would 100% recommend staying here.

Kleines Paradie
Der Gite Gecko liegt in den Hügeln des Rhônetals nur 3 Autominuten von der Ardeche entfernt. Hier fühlt man sich sofort wohl und gut aufgehoben. Die netten Vermieter, die Katze und die 3 großartigen Hühner sorgen für eine familiäre Atmosphäre die zu nichts verpflichtet. Die Ferienwohnung ist toprenoviert, freundlich möbliert, bei Bedarf klimatisiert und hervorragend ausgestattet. Den großzügigen Pool hat man bis zur Fertigstellung des 2ten Gites sogar ganz für sich alleine. Schöne Orte für Ausflüge und die Gorges de l' Ardeche liegen direkt vor der Haustür. Eine unbedingte Empfehlung

Escapade d'un week-end
5/5Pour une petite escapade le temps d'un trop court week end, quel plaisir nous avons eu que de nous retrouver dans ce havre de paix !
Nous avons été magnifiquement reçus et chouchoutés durant nos 48h sur place. Tout est fait pour que nous nous sentions comme à la maison.
Il ne manque de rien, le moindre détail a été pensé.
Nous nous prenons déjà à rêver de la prochaine fois que nous viendrons, pour un séjour, on l'espère, un peu plus long- Cleanliness 5/5

5/5Gites 5 étoiles, parfaitement équipé jusque dans les moindres détails, décoré avec goût avec une literie spacieuse et de grande qualité. Sa localisation présente tous les atouts souhaités pour passer une semaine au calme, proches d'un site naturel d'exception (Les gorges de l'Ardèche). Nous nous serons sentis réellement accueillis (ainsi que notre chien Moka) par des hôtes serviables et de très bons conseils tant pour les bonnes adresses du coin que pour les balades qui n'ont aucun secret pour eux. Seule la météo n'aura pas été au beau fixe: nous ne pourrons que revenir en espérant pouvoir profiter cette fois de la magnifique piscine.
