Gîte du Clos Long

A gîte for rest, relaxation and sharing.

Set in a small hamlet just 10 minutes from Privas, this detached house is just the thing for a change of scenery and peace and quiet. Located in the commune of Saint-Priest, at the gateway to the Monts d'Ardèche regional park, you're ideally situated for exploring the treasures of the department: less than an hour from the Gorges de l'Ardèche, the Plateau Ardéchois with its Mont Gerbier des Joncs, and the Eyrieux valley. For those who prefer to stay on site, there are hiking and biking trails around the gîte (bike storage available on site).

The gîte is a 120 m² 17th century farmhouse built of basalt stone in a peaceful setting. On arrival, you're immediately greeted by a small, enclosed garden with flowers, and the stone staircase leading up to the gîte. Inside, a fully-equipped kitchen with bar area is the ideal place to prepare tasty meals for family and friends, which can then be shared on the adjoining terrace. The living room, with its open fireplace, stonework and exposed beams, bears witness to the history of the place. The large farmhouse table, sofas and armchairs are perfect for getting together, unless you'd prefer to sit out on the adjacent second terrace and watch the stars. A wooden staircase leads to the sleeping area on the 1st floor. There are 4 bedrooms: one with three 90cm beds, including a bunk bed, one with a 140cm bed, one with three 80cm beds, two of which can be twinned to 160cm, and one with two 80cm beds that can be twinned to 160cm. A bathroom with WC, a shower room and an independent WC complete the first floor.

To make the most of your stay, sheets, towels and household linen are included, and beds are made up on arrival. For those who want to stay connected, wifi is available. Pets are welcome.
