In the heart of the old village of Rochecolombe, this stone-built Holiday cottage offers much more than a simple stay - it's a truly timeless experience for two. Set in unspoilt countryside, it boasts a rare location, where only the calm, the light and the scenery set the pace for your day. Behind its walls steeped in history, the owner has taken up a daring challenge by transforming four walls into a comfortable cocoon where authenticity and the gentleness of life meet. Accessible only on foot, this place invites you to slow down your pace right from the start.
After parking your car just a few minutes away (approx. 250m), take the village lane to reach the Belvédère Holiday cottage, a natural transition to a timeless interlude. The location is exceptional, nestled in a preserved environment free from light pollution, ideal for contemplating the starry sky. From the main terrace, a unique spectacle awaits you after the rain, with the Rochecolombe waterfall revealing itself below, creating a suspended moment. A second shaded terrace is available for meals and aperitifs, while the small garden invites you to read, take a nap or simply savor the moment. Inside, the Holiday cottage is spread over two levels, revealing over 75 m² of space where stone, wood and travertine create a soft, harmonious atmosphere. The open-plan living area combines a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room and a sitting area with a quality sofa bed, all facing outwards. A few steps lead up to an elegant bedroom with a 160cm bed and a bathroom with shower and WC. On arrival, the bed is made up and towels are provided, so you can start enjoying your stay straight away. Nearby, discover the natural wonders of the Ardèche Gorges, explore the famous Pont d'Arc or immerse yourself in prehistory at Grotte Chauvet 2.
Stroll through the picturesque villages of Balazuc and Vogüé, between river and cliff, for a swim or a cultural experience. And for outdoor enthusiasts, set off from the Holiday cottage on the many hiking trails that criss-cross the Ardèche countryside. Arrival and departure in July and August, Sunday to Sunday.
