In a small hamlet in the Countryside, close to Aubenas and Vals les Bains, the 'Holiday cottage des Grand Bois' welcomes you with its 4 bedrooms (sleeps 7) and covered terrace offering an enclosed relaxation area with garden furniture, plancha and games. Beds made on arrival. It's spacious and full of character, with exposed stone walls.
The 1st floor comprises a living room/kitchen with fireplace, a bedroom with a 160cm bed, a Kids' bedroom with a 120cm bed, and a toilet. Upstairs, 2 further bedrooms with double beds (140cm), a small lounge with books and games, shower room.
Enclosed garage with washing machine. Air-conditioning is installed in the upstairs sitting room, keeping the 2 bedrooms cool in hot weather.
Baby equipment on site. Oil-fired central heating. Deckchairs available in a small outdoor area (road to cross).
A large garage provides safe parking for Bikers.
Small shops are nearby in the village of St Privat. All other services are available in Aubenas, a small shopping city with its castle, restaurants and cinemas. For swimming, the Ardèche river is 3 km away. This is the starting point for visits to the great sites of the southern Ardèche: the Ardèche gorges and the Grotte Chauvet2 - Ardèche, the Pont d'Arc, the beautiful villages of Vogüé and Balazuc built on the banks of the Ardèche river, Antraïgues, Jean Ferrat's adopted village, on the way to the Ardéchoise Mountain... For nature lovers, there are numerous hiking and mountain-biking trails that invite you to discover an exceptional heritage: Vieil Ucel, the Louyre canyon, St Julien du Serre and its Romanesque church...
