Overlooking the Doux valley, a quiet, unspoilt valley, 2-storey stone gîte in a small hamlet, with independent access and garden area. Kitchen, sitting area, wood-burning stove (free wood), 2-seater sofa bed, large mezzanine with 1 double bed, shower room and WC. Unenclosed plot. All shops in Desaignes 5km away. Access by 1.5 km dirt track. For weekends, beds are made up on arrival. Owner lives on site. Le Mastrou tourist train approx. 11 km away. Hiking trails from the gîte, lake at Desaignes approx. 5 km away. The gîte does not have a television, but does have an internet connection.

Originaire de la région lyonnaise, j'ai acheté cette propriété en 1988.
J'ai travaillé une quinzaine d'années à restaurer cette ancienne ferme et ses dépendances.
Loin de la folle agitation du monde, je suis passionné par cette nature environnante. J'aime travailler dans mon jardin que je je fais volontiers visiter.

Vraiment un accueil plein de sympathie au bout d'un chemin au milieu des châtaigniers apparaît le gîte dans son jus avec tout le nécessaire pour un temps de repos et d'isolement dans une nature a porté de main .

Un séjour merveilleux dans ce petit chalet, tout confort et très bien équipé. Yves est un hôte très sympathique, accueillant et arrangeant. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Nous avons recommandé le lieu à nos amis !

Jonathan & Laura A welcome return!
We had such a wonderful stay at the gite back in 2018 and had long wanted to return despite the 1000km journey from England, so finally we managed to visit again in 2024!
Although much has changed in the world since then we were happy rediscover an oasis of calm. Again, we weren't disappointed, finding warm and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful, calm setting with such wonderful views. We only wish we could have stayed much longer!
It was lovely to see the host, Yves, again. He is extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. We were also charmed by his little feline companion, Oceane.
The Ardeche is a a very beautiful area and we were very privileged to visit one again, thank you.
